Welcome

Welcome to Bakersfield-Mira Monte FFA website. We are an agricultural education science program located in Bakersfield, CA. Our chapter has 380 active AET accounts and 3 teachers.

Our students are developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education. Mira Monte’s Agriculture Program meets A-G graduation requirements. It is recognized by all state and UC colleges, as well as out of state colleges. Therefore, students will receive college credit while being immersed in a program with traveling opportunities, and other events!

This year the program got the opportunity to apply for a grant that will allow our program to carry laboratory classrooms, a greenhouse, floral shop, livestock pens, and an addition to the current agriculture mechanics shop to store materials here on the school’s ground. This is allowing our program to receive more classes and opportunities for the students. We are gaining new membership each and every year to be one of the top programs in the state. Our agriculture program is a home away from home, and welcomes everyone!
